Online poker has become world famous lately, with televised tournaments and celebrity poker game shows. The games popularity, though, arcs back quite a bit further than its television scores. Over the years numerous variations on the first poker game have been created, including a handful of games that are not in fact poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of these games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely resembling twenty-one than old guard poker, in that the gamblers bet against the dealer instead of the other players. The succeeding hands, are the established poker hands. There is little concealment or different kinds of concealment. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to pay up prior to the croupier announcing "No further wagers." At that moment, both you and the bank and of course every one of the other players are given 5 cards each. Once you have looked at your hand and the dealer’s first card, you must in turn make a call bet or accede. The call wager’s amount is on same level to your beginning ante, indicating that the risks will have doubled. Abandoning means that your wager goes immediately to the dealer. After the bet is the face off. If the dealer does not have ace/king or better, your wager is given back, plus a figure in accordance with the original wager. If the casino does have ace/king or better, you win if your hand beats the casino’s hand. The house pays out money equal to your ante and set expectations on your call bet. These expectations are:
- Equal for a pair or high card
- two to one for two pairs
- 3-1 for 3 of a kind
- four to one for a straight
- 5-1 for a flush
- 7-1 for a full house
- 20-1 for a 4 of a kind
- fifty to one for a straight flush
- 100-1 for a royal flush
