Poker Aces references two aces being dealt before theflop. It is the best possible before theflop hand inhold’em Poker. But regardless a good many bettors find themselves on the wrong end when dealt these cards.
When you’re dealt a set of Aces, you just don’t fold pre-flop. You are positioned with the best possible hand at this part of the round. So how do you bet with Poker Aces ? Do you basically go all-in? I’d say absolutely no to that.
Always remember, you are trying to earn as much profit out of this strong position. You will want to maximise the opportunity. Going all-in will actually drive most competitors into folding before placing a wager.
If you are in the starting spot (1st or second to place a bet), you will make a single bet. Any person with a good hand will call, with luck a person will raise. If someone has made a raise do not hop to re-raise or call, wait for a short while – make them think you’re considering your options and then call.
Following the flop your tactic will be to get rid of anyone that might be able to build a straight or a flush. So I would start to raise boldly, if you’re lucky you will fool one player into thinking that you are tricking.
If you’re in the middle or later spot (near the last to place a wager) you will watch as everybody calls and then raise. Even though you are holding a pair of aces, if possible try to avoid a show-down. Defend your hand by forcing others to fold following the flop. If you do not force out your opponents you chance squandering your hand.
