1 Plus 2 Equals 3: A Poker Player’s Worth is Determined by His/Her Bottom Line

A number of poker techniques will surprise you with their simplicity. This is sample. Jot down your outcomes, every single time you wager.

Cathedral of hold’em Psalm #3:

Thou have to write down thy successes and thy squanders; for it’s the sum of all a mans achievements which create his bottom line.

How detailed is up to you. I tend to think that hourly info and that type of intimate information is not needed. Simply figure out how much ahead you are and how much (if anything) you have taken out. Naturally, if you do not win, record that too, regardless of how much it hurts.

Don’t neglect to record what sort of game you are competing in, if that’s significant to you. (In my expertise, most folks keep to what they understand and don’t experiment. If all you note is winnings, loses and what you’ve taken out, you are light years in front of most gamblers out there!)

Provide yourself realistic goals, like a ‘dream’ goal (new vehicle, get-a-way or whatever). When you withdraw, add the $$$$$ withdrawn to your dream tally. The more successful you are, the nearer that goal will be!
