Web poker has become world celebrated as of late, with televised competitions and celebrity poker game shows. The games popularity, though, stretches back in fact a bit further than its TV scores. Over the years many types on the original poker game have been developed, including a handful of games that are not quite poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of these games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely resembling twenty-one than old guard poker, in that the gamblers bet against the dealer instead of the other players. The succeeding hands, are the traditional poker hands. There is little bluffing or different types of deception. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to ante up prior to the croupier broadcasting "No more wagers." At that moment, both you and the dealer and of course every one of the other players acquire 5 cards. Once you have observed your hand and the casino’s initial card, you must in turn make a call wager or bow out. The call bet’s amount is equal to your beginning bet, meaning that the risks will have increased two fold. Abandoning means that your bet goes immediately to the dealer. After the wager comes the conclusion. If the bank does not have ace/king or greater, your bet is given back, plus an amount in accordance with the ante. If the casino does have ace/king or better, you win if your hand is greater than the dealer’s hand. The bank pony’s up cash even with your wager and controlled odds on your call wager. These odds are:
- Equal for a pair or high card
- 2-1 for two pairs
- three to one for 3 of a kind
- four to one for a straight
- 5-1 for a flush
- 7-1 for a full house
- twenty to one for a 4 of a kind
- fifty to one for a straight flush
- 100-1 for a royal flush
